Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Kim Granger and I live in a small mountain community in the lovely little town of Groveland, CA. I have a wonderful husband and four fabulous children who have been so supportive of me and my mineral makeup business.
I first started this business because I was dissatisfied with the cosmetics I found on the market. I didn’t like the chemicals, mineral oils, and icky ingredients that were in most cosmetics. I had been using a popular brand of mineral makeup for years, and like many women I knew, I could never find my perfect shade. Another problem I encountered was these products irritated my sensitive skin and left it looking shiny.
In my research I discovered that the culprit was bimuth oxychloride, an ingredient that is found in many mineral cosmetics. So, I went on a mission to create my own mineral makeup, free of bismuth oxychloride, in a shade that was right for me. With much research and persistence I found myself concocting my own formula for minerals and began sharing it with my friends and family. Foxy Mineral Makeup was born, and the rest is history!
